Job Summary
At Mkobo, the Finance Officer is responsible for all the organization's financial aspects. The position manages the budget, prepare financial reports, and ensure that all financial transaction is conducted legally and ethically.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Create and implement financial policies to guarantee operational efficiency.
- Oversee the preparation and planning of budgets, also maintain records and receipts for all daily transactions.
- Ensure financial records are kept up-to-date with the latest transactions and changes.
- Contribute to financial audits and Monitor all bank deposits and payments.
- Perform periodic financial analysis to detect and resolve problems.
- Conduct daily review of General Ledgers and assist in the Budget expense Tracker Management
- Preparation of Monthly CBN Returns and Management Account
- Preparation of the bank’s Weekly Performance Report and Asset and Liability Report
- Calculation of Effective Interest rate on Investment securities
- Assist in the preparation of ECL (IFRS 9) on Loans and advances.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 Years relevant professional experience in a similar role.
- Minimum Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- Computer literate, good working knowledge of MS Excel; and attention to detail and analytical skills
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and organization skills
- Self-Starter with the ability to work independently and under pressure, while remaining flexible, proactive and efficient
