Job Summary
The Junior Finance Officer will provide support to the finance department by assisting in day-to-day financial operations, including bookkeeping, financial reporting, and maintaining accurate financial records. The role requires attention to detail, basic knowledge of accounting principles, and the ability to work under supervision.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping and Record Maintenance:
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions, including invoices, receipts, and payments.
- Assist in preparing and entering journal entries into the accounting system.
- Reconcile bank statements, supplier statements, and other financial documents.
Accounts Payable and Receivable:
- Assist in processing invoices and ensuring timely payment of bills.
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable, ensuring that all payments are made and received within due dates.
- Assist with customer and vendor queries related to billing and payments.
Expense Management:
- Assist in tracking company expenses, ensuring they are recorded accurately and in line with company policies.
- Help prepare expense reports and review supporting documentation for accuracy.
Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure that all financial transactions comply with internal policies and applicable regulations.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial documentation and records for audit purposes.
- Assist in preparing for internal and external audits by gathering necessary documentation.
Data Entry and Analysis:
- Input financial data into accounting systems and ensure data integrity.
- Conduct basic financial analysis and provide insights to the finance team on cash flow, expenses, and income.
Ad-Hoc Financial Tasks:
- Provide administrative support to the finance department, including filing, handling inquiries, and managing petty cash.
- Assist in other finance-related tasks and projects as directed by the Finance Manager.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: 0-2 years of experience in a finance or accounting role, with internships considered valuable.
Professional Skills:
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Remuneration: NGN 3,233,481.21 – 5,629,476.56 Annual
