About the job:
We are seeking an experienced financial analyst who will be responsible for providing financial insights, analyzing financial data, preparing reports and developing financial models to assist in the company’s decision-making process. This role involves monitoring financial performance, and forecasting future financial performance. Prior experience in the fintech industry is essential.
Salary: 300,000N-500,000N (Depending on YOE)
What you’ll do:
- Conduct financial analysis and modelling to support strategic decision-making and business planning.
- Prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
- Analyse and interpret financial data and trends.
- Evaluate and recommend financial strategies and opportunities for growth and optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives.
- Assist in the preparation of investor presentations and materials.
- Monitor and analyse industry trends and competitor activities.
- Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as needed.
- Other duties that may arise from time to time.
What we seek:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in financial analysis in the Fintech Industry is important.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
- Proficiency in financial modelling and advanced Excel skills
- Strong people-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently and remotely.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools like ERP system, SAP is a plus.
