Financial Controller

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies to support the company's transformation and growth objectives.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax laws, and corporate governance standards.
• Oversee annual budgets, multi-year forecasts, and variance analyses to drive financial accountability.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks, including currency, credit, and market risks.
• Design and implement robust internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Manage liquidity to support operations and strategic investments while maintaining optimal cash flow.
• Lead internal and external audit processes, ensuring timely resolution of findings and compliance.
• Prepare detailed financial models and reports to support executive decision-making and profitability analysis.
• Build and manage a high-performing finance team while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Maintain banking relationships, secure funding, and develop tax strategies to optimize the company’s financial position.

Requirements:

• Chartered Accountant with ACA, ACCA, or equivalent certifications.
• Minimum of 6 – 10 years experience, with a track record of high performance in high-growth organizations.
• Expertise in financial modeling, analysis, and reporting.
• Strong understanding of fintech operations and BNPL models.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field; MSc/MBA is a plus.

Remuneration: NGN 1,000,000 – 1,200,000 Monthly Gross
