Financial Reporting Associate

We are seeking an analytical, detail-oriented Finance Associate to lead financial reporting and planning at Fluna. If you have a strong mastery of Excel, are quick with numbers, and have knowledge of accounting principles, this role would be perfect for you! In addition, you will have the opportunity to work directly with investors together with the CEO, and be part of debt/equity fundraising efforts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
• Build and maintain financial models to support business planning with C-suite and investor presentations
• Help prepare materials for board meetings and investor updates
• Lead due diligence processes by gathering and organizing financial documentation for potential investors
• Work directly with external stakeholders including investors, auditors, accountants and regulators
• Reconcile accounts and ledgers to ensure accuracy of financial data
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis at a top-tier audit firm, consulting firm or investment firm
• Startup experience or working at a high-growth startup is a plus
