Role Description
This is a 4-month internship role for a Finance Intern at MeritAfrika that can be extended further. The Finance Intern will be involved in tasks related to financial market analysis, Nigerian fixed income related work, identifying potential clients and coordinating KYC documentation with respective teams of the Company, interacting with existing clients and seeking to bring flow to the trading desk, setting up new sell side relationships for the platform.
Ideal Candidate
- Pursuing or completed a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Computer Science or any other another field
- Must have an ambitious nature
- Must have performed well academically (estimated or achieved Upper Second-Class Honours (2:1))
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Must have had some finance related background
- Very strong interpersonal skills
- Candidates with extracurricular activities on their resume are favoured
