Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Fleet Coordinator to manage our fleet of delivery vehicles and drivers in Abuja. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the fleet operations for our instant delivery app. This involves coordinating vehicle and driver schedules and ensuring maintenance and compliance.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the delivery fleet, including vehicle maintenance, fuel management, and driver scheduling.
- Manage fleet budget, oversee fuel and maintenance expenditures, and seek cost-saving opportunities.
- Monitor vehicle performance and identify maintenance needs to minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant road safety regulations and company policies.
- Utilize route planning software to optimize delivery routes, reducing travel time and fuel consumption.
- Assign delivery tasks to drivers based on their availability and route efficiency.
- Monitor real-time delivery progress and make adjustments as needed.
- Recruit, hire, and train delivery drivers to ensure they meet company standards.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to drivers.
- Address driver issues and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Respond to and resolve any vehicle accidents, breakdowns, or other incidents promptly.
- Coordinate with insurance providers and repair services to minimize downtime.
- Analyze fleet performance data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Use data-driven insights to optimize delivery operations and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with customer service teams to resolve delivery issues and improve customer satisfaction
- Implement feedback mechanisms to ensure high service quality.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficient in route planning software and GPS tracking systems.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience in fleet management, logistics, or transportation is preferred.
