Fleet Coordinator/Manager

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the delivery fleet, including vehicle maintenance, fuel management, and driver scheduling.
• Manage fleet budget, oversee fuel and maintenance expenditures, and seek cost-saving opportunities.
• Monitor vehicle performance and identify maintenance needs to minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant road safety regulations and company policies.
• Utilize route planning software to optimize delivery routes, reducing travel time and fuel consumption.
• Assign delivery tasks to drivers based on their availability and route efficiency.
• Monitor real-time delivery progress and make adjustments as needed.
• Recruit, hire, and train delivery drivers to ensure they meet company standards.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to drivers.
• Address driver issues and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Respond to and resolve any vehicle accidents, breakdowns, or other incidents promptly.
• Coordinate with insurance providers and repair services to minimize downtime.
• Analyze fleet performance data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Use data-driven insights to optimize delivery operations and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with customer service teams to resolve delivery issues and improve customer satisfaction
• Implement feedback mechanisms to ensure high service quality. 

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. 
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proficient in route planning software and GPS tracking systems.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Experience in fleet management, logistics, or transportation is preferred.
