Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that guests receive prompt, efficient, and friendly service at all times.
- Handle customer complaints, concerns, and requests in a professional and timely manner.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by monitoring service delivery and ensuring quality experiences for all guests.
- Supervise and motivate front-of-house staff, including servers, bartenders, and hosts.
- Provide on-the-job training and guidance to staff on service standards, product knowledge, and up-selling techniques.
- Schedule staff shifts in accordance with business needs and ensure proper coverage during peak hours.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and assist in the development of team members.
- Oversee the smooth operation of the floor, including table turnover, order accuracy, and inventory control.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and bar to ensure efficient service and prompt delivery of food and drinks.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the floor area, including dining areas, restrooms, and other public spaces.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations at all times.
- Assist in the planning and execution of private events, special promotions, and live entertainment.
- Coordinate with clients and vendors to ensure event needs are met and executed according to the venue’s standards.
- Oversee the setup and breakdown of event spaces and ensure guests’ needs are met throughout the event.
- Oversee cash handling and payment processing to ensure accuracy and security.
- Monitor stock levels of alcohol, supplies, and other inventory and communicate with management for reordering needs.
- Perform end-of-day reconciliation and ensure that all financial transactions are accurate and documented.
- Collaborate with other managers, including the bar and kitchen managers, to ensure a smooth flow of operations.
- Participate in management meetings and contribute to the development of strategies for improving service quality, increasing revenue, and maintaining customer loyalty.
- Ensure compliance with local laws regarding alcohol service, health regulations, and safety protocols.
- Monitor staff adherence to responsible alcohol service guidelines and ensure that all guests are treated fairly and respectfully.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in hospitality or bar management, with a focus on customer service and team leadership.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests, staff, and management.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle high-stress situations professionally.
- Strong knowledge of bar and lounge operations, including food and beverage offerings, POS systems, and inventory management.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- A proactive attitude and a passion for creating an outstanding guest experience.
