Mechanical Machinist

• Set up and operate various types of mechanical machines such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders to manufacture and repair parts for machinery
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to determine specifications and tolerances
• Perform precision machining operations according to planned schedules and deadlines
• Inspect finished parts for conformance to specifications using various measuring tools
• Maintain and troubleshoot machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Work closely with engineers and other team members to develop efficient machining processes
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations while maintaining a clean and organized work environment
  
  
  

Requirements

• Technical certification or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a machinist in an industrial environment
• Strong knowledge of machining processes, techniques, and tools
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Proficient with various machining equipment and measurement tools
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and precision
• Good problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
