Careerbuddy is building a community of Freelance Recuiters. As a Freelance Recruiter, youâll help us build great teams by attracting top talent for our clients. Youâll immerse yourself in the hiring dynamics of our clients, while enjoying the flexibility and independence of freelance work. With advanced sourcing skills, strong research capabilities, and a talent acquisition mindset, youâll dive into the world of startups, helping them meet their recruitment needs quickly and effectively. What You Will Do...
- Talent Sourcing: Use advanced sourcing techniques and tools to identify top talent and ensure a continuous pipeline of high-quality candidates.
- Collaboration: Work closely with managers to understand client recruitment needs, and support in building successful placements.
- Candidate Experience: Provide an exceptional candidate experience by guiding professionals through the recruitment process with transparency, honesty, and empathy.
- Flexibility & Autonomy: Youâll have full control over your schedule while ensuring that client needs and hiring deadlines are met.
To be considered for this role, you should haveâ¦
- At least 2 years of experience as a recruiter, preferably in-house or with an agency, working with startups or high-growth companies.
- A deep passion for startups, African businesses, technology, and scaling companies.
- Experience recruiting for both generalist (marketing, sales, operations) and technical roles (engineering, data science, product).
- Prior experience working remotely and managing your own time while delivering results.
- Emotional intelligence, adaptability, humility, and a team-player mentality.
- A focus on delivering high-quality, measurable results.
