Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome students, parents, visitors, and staff with a friendly and professional attitude.
- Direct visitors to the appropriate departments or personnel.
- Answer and route phone calls, taking messages and directing inquiries to the appropriate staff members.
- Handle and distribute incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
- Manage front desk supplies, ordering and restocking as necessary.
- Assist students with general inquiries, providing information about school policies and procedures.
- Assist in the distribution of school notices, newsletters, and forms.
- Ensure that all visitors and students adhere to school security policies.
- Monitor the entrance and exit of individuals, ensuring the safety and security of the premises.
- Maintain updated records of student information and visitor logs.
- Assist with updating databases and filing systems as required.
Requirements:
- Minimum of HND/Degree from a reputable institution
- 1-2 years of experience in a customer service or administrative role, preferably in an educational setting.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and prioritize workload.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Professional, friendly, and welcoming demeanor.
- Ability to work on Microsoft programs, especially Excel
- Honest with a positive attitude to work
