Job Summary

The Front Desk Representative serves as the first point of contact for customers, providing them with information about travel packages, handling bookings, and offering assistance throughout their travel planning process. This role requires strong customer service skills, knowledge of travel products, and the ability to resolve issues promptly to ensure a positive customer experience.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities 

  • Greet and welcome guests or clients as they arrive at the front desk.
  • Provide detailed information about travel packages, destinations, accommodations, and other tourism-related services.
  • Assist customers in making travel bookings, including flights, hotels, and tours.
  • Respond to customer inquiries in person, by phone, or via email, addressing questions and resolving any concerns.
  • Handle check-ins and check-outs for clients, confirming travel itineraries, reservations, and accommodations.
  • Process payments, issue receipts, and handle travel-related transactions.
  • Promote special deals, travel packages, and loyalty programs to encourage bookings.
  • Maintain a well-organized and clean front desk area.
  • Coordinate with other departments or partners (airlines, hotels, tour companies) to fulfill customer requests.
  • Monitor and respond to online reviews and customer feedback to improve service quality.


Requirements:

  • Proficient in office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace) and booking systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to remain patient and calm under pressure.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • Basic knowledge of travel destinations, booking procedures, and tourism industry practices.
