Job Description

As a MAUI Frontend Developer at RapidMedicare, you will be responsible for building and optimizing the frontend of our telemedicine applications, ensuring that our platform provides a seamless and accessible user experience for patients and healthcare providers. You’ll work closely with our backend developers, UX/UI designers, and product managers to bring engaging, intuitive features to life across mobile and desktop devices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain frontend features for RapidMedicare’s cross-platform applications using .NET MAUI.
• Collaborate with designers and product managers to implement responsive, user-friendly UI/UX designs.
• Optimize application performance across Android, iOS, Windows, and macOS to ensure a smooth user experience.
• Convert wireframes and UI mockups into functional, high-quality code.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues, working proactively to maintain code quality and improve application performance.
• Write clean, maintainable code following best practices in .NET MAUI development.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and provide constructive feedback.
• Stay updated on industry trends, particularly in telemedicine and digital health technology.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years of experience in .NET development, with at least 1 year specifically in .NET MAUI or Xamarin.Forms.
• Proficiency in C# and .NET framework, with hands-on experience in the MAUI ecosystem.
• Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and responsive design, especially in healthcare or telemedicine applications.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and experience integrating backend services.
• Knowledge of MVVM (Model-View-ViewModel) architecture and state management.
• Proficiency in Git or similar version control systems.
• Experience in mobile app deployment on App Store and Google Play.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an eye for detail.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with XAML for building reusable, visually appealing components.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps or other CI/CD tools.
• Knowledge of healthcare compliance standards (HIPAA) and secure data handling practices.
• Previous experience with telemedicine or healthcare applications.
• Strong understanding of mobile app optimization techniques.
