Frontend Developer(React, Angular, etc)

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain user-friendly web applications and interfaces for our financial services platform.
• Collaborate with backend developers, UX/UI designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to create seamless and engaging user experiences.
• Implement responsive design principles to ensure applications are optimized for a variety of devices and screen sizes.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and address performance issues across different web browsers and platforms.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
• Integrate third-party services and APIs to enhance the functionality of our web applications.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and continuous improvement within the development team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• Proven experience as a Frontend Developer, ideally within the financial services industry.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frontend frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js).
• Strong understanding of web development best practices, including performance optimization and accessibility.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Familiarity with frontend build tools and package managers (Webpack, Babel, npm, etc.).
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with financial systems, trading platforms, or payment processing solutions.
• Knowledge of security best practices and experience implementing security measures in web development.
• Familiarity with design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, or Figma.
• Certification in relevant technologies or frontend frameworks.

Location: Lagos State.
