Frontend Visualization Engineer (React/D3.js/TikZ/PGF) -Contract: 6 Months

• Notice Period: 2 weeks
• Time Zone Overlap: 5 hours PST

Position Overview

• We are seeking a skilled Front-End Developer with strong expertise in React and TikZ/PGF for a full-time contract role. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in front-end development, specializing in graphical rendering and data visualization. This role requires a deep understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and advanced visualization libraries like TikZ/PGF.
  
  

Technologies & Nice-to-Have Skills::

• Front-End: React, Redux, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript
• Visualization: TikZ/PGF, D3.js, SVG
• Experience with charting or graphical rendering libraries
• Familiarity with design tools like Figma or Sketch
  
  

Responsibilities

• Write clean, reusable, and efficient code with a focus on scalability.
• Build and maintain modular, component-driven architecture.
• Create complex data visualizations and interactive graphics using TikZ/PGF within web applications.
• Collaborate with back-end developers for seamless front-end/back-end integration.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality standards.
• Optimize web performance and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with React, JavaScript/TypeScript, and TikZ/PGF.
• Strong understanding of ES6+, Redux, and state management.
• Experience with Git and Agile practices.
• Proficient communication skills in English.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
