Full-Stack Developer (React Native & Laravel)

TELA is a business intelligence and payment platform empowering SMEs and freelancers. We’re seeking a highly skilled full-stack developer to join our founding team, allowing you to take ownership of the technical vision and contribute directly to the company's success.

What We’re Looking For:

Frontend Development (React Native):

• Proven experience with React Native for mobile app development, including building and deploying mobile applications for iOS and Android.
• Experience integrating native modules, managing third-party libraries, and handling push notifications and app lifecycle management.
• Strong understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript and ES6+ features.
• Expertise in designing responsive, intuitive, and performance-optimized interfaces using styled components and React Native animations.
• Familiarity with React Navigation, Expo CLI, and EAS for development and deployment workflows.
• Knowledge of secure storage mechanisms like expo-secure-store or AsyncStorage and debugging tools (e.g., Reactotron, Jest, Detox).

Backend Development (Laravel):

• Strong proficiency with PHP and the Laravel framework for building scalable APIs.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design, versioning, and secure development practices.
• Experience with Laravel’s Sanctum or Passport for authentication.
• Familiarity with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL), database migrations, Eloquent ORM, and query optimization.
• Hands-on experience with testing using PHPUnit or similar tools.

DevOps & Integration:

• Experience integrating front-end and back-end services, including building real-time communication features (e.g., websockets, Pusher integration).
• Knowledge of Docker and containerized deployments, with experience deploying to AWS, Google Cloud, or DigitalOcean.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for automating testing builds, and deployments.

General Skills:

• Strong experience working with Git and version control (GitHub, GitLab).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA or Trello for task management.

Bonus Skills:

• Experience with fintech-related app development, particularly secure handling of financial data.
• Knowledge of real-time data handling and microservices architecture.
