Job Summary
The Saviour Reigns School is seeking an experienced and motivated Further Mathematics Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for teaching and a deep understanding of both Further Mathematics. You will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons that challenge students to think critically and apply mathematical and scientific concepts. The goal is to prepare students for success in their exams and inspire them to explore careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Teach Further Mathematics to secondary school students (SS1 and SS2), ensuring a solid understanding of the subjects' theoretical and practical aspects.
- Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments in line with the school's curriculum and external examination requirements (WAEC, NECO).
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods to engage students with different learning styles and ensure that concepts in Further Mathematics are easily understood.
- Assess and track students' progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to help them improve.
- Prepare students for internal and external examinations, ensuring they meet academic standards and are confident in their abilities.
- Collaborate with other teachers in the school to maintain consistency in teaching approaches and share best practices.
- Encourage students to explore careers in STEM fields by organizing discussions, projects, and activities related to Mathematics.
- Maintain a positive, disciplined, and inclusive classroom environment that fosters academic growth and curiosity.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching Further Mathematics, preferably in a secondary school setting.
- In-depth knowledge of the curriculum and examination standards for WAEC and NECO.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to explain complex concepts in an engaging and accessible manner.
- Strong organizational skills and proficiency in using technology for teaching and assessment.
- A commitment to fostering a love for learning and academic excellence in students.
