They are looking for an individual with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and strong strategic thinking and planning abilities to join their team as a FX Sales Manager. This role involves a 360-degree approach encompassing research, prospecting, client acquisition, onboarding, and account management. It is a challenging but rewarding position that provides opportunities for career growth and development within the organization.

Your Responsibilitiesâ¦

Client Acquisition:

  • You will initiate and manage sales initiatives to introduce potential clients to their services.
  • You will build and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients.
  • You will present our treasury management solutions persuasively.
  • You will negotiate and close deals to onboard new clients.

New Business Development

  • You will identify and pursue new business opportunities within various sectors for money movement and foreign exchange solutions.
  • You will drive new corporate business through direct sales, following a 'hunter' approach
  • You will prospect, present, and close deals while managing the entire sales cycle, ensuring compliance and customer onboarding.
  • You will collaborate with research and trading teams to enhance the client experience.

Research And Prospecting

  • You will conduct thorough market research to identify potential business opportunities and stay informed about industry trends.
  • You will develop a strategic approach for identifying and prospecting new clients.

Onboarding Process

  • You will guide clients through the onboarding process, ensuring a seamless transition into their platform.
  • You will provide clients with comprehensive information about their products and services.
  • You will address client inquiries and concerns during the onboarding phase.

Sales And Account Management

  • You will proactively identify and target potential clients for FX trading services.
  • You will manage and grow an existing portfolio of clients, ensuring their needs are met.
  • You will develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
  • You will build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.
  • You will act as a primary point of contact for client inquiries, addressing their needs and concerns promptly.
  • You will understand clients' financial goals and risk tolerance to tailor FX solutions accordingly.

Reporting And Documentation

  • You will maintain accurate records of client interactions, transactions, and feedback.
  • You will generate periodic reports on sales performance and client portfolio.

Collaboration

  • You will collaborate with other teams, including trading, research, and compliance, to provide seamless client service.
  • You will participate in regular meetings and discussions to enhance sales strategies and client offerings.
  • You will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

The ideal candidate is/hasâ¦

  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently as part of a team.
  • Proven track record in FX sales, account management, or a related financial sales role.
  • Demonstrable experience working towards targets in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of the Financial Services Industry, particularly the Foreign Exchange market with a focus on Africa, is required.
  • High ethical standards and commitment to compliance.
  • A can-do, enthusiastic, and helpful attitude.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and networking abilities.
  • Deep understanding of consultative sales principles, adept at executive corporate-level negotiations, and building long-term client relationships.
  • Proven success in new business sales in a dynamic environment, consistently achieving or exceeding targets.
  • Excellent client acquisition skills and experience building relationships with individuals of varying seniority levels in the banking and non-banking financial services industry.
  • Proficient in relevant software and tools for tracking and reporting.
  • IT literate; proficient in CRM systems and Google Workspace.
  • Ambitious, self-motivated, confident, with high integrity and tenacity to bring value to a tight-knit team.
