Job Overview:

The General Manager will oversee all aspects of running the restaurant and lounge, ensuring exceptional service and experience for our clientele.

The candidate will manage a diverse team of 70 staff members, fostering a culture of excellence and professionalism. The role demands strategic leadership, operational expertise, and the ability to elevate guest experiences to exceed current standards.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Leadership & Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of 50 staff members, including chefs, servers, and support staff.
  • Set performance standards, conduct regular evaluations, and implement training programs to ensure high levels of service.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and productive work environment.


2. Guest Experience:

  • Ensure every guest receives outstanding service, addressing any concerns and resolving issues promptly.
  • Maintain a visible presence on the floor, engaging with customers to build relationships and ensure satisfaction.


3. Operational Oversight:

  • Oversee daily operations, including inventory management, scheduling, and financial reporting.
  • Implement and monitor standard operating procedures to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Enforce IT procedures and process.


4. Financial Management:

  • Develop and manage budgets, control costs, and optimize revenue.
  • Analyse financial reports and identify opportunities for growth and improvement.


5. Marketing & Community Relations:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to promote the restaurant and lounge through various channels.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, influencers, and the community to enhance the brand’s reputation.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a General Manager or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage a large team and handle high-pressure situations with grace.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with a keen understanding of the expectations of high net worth individuals.
  • Financial acumen and experience in budget management and financial analysis.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices.
  • Minimum BSc degree from a reputable University.
  • 12 Years post Bsc professional experience.
