Job Overview:

The candidate will manage a diverse team of 70 staff members, fostering a culture of excellence and professionalism. The role demands strategic leadership, operational expertise, and the ability to elevate guest experiences to exceed current standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Leadership & Management:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of 50 staff members, including chefs, servers, and support staff.
- Set performance standards, conduct regular evaluations, and implement training programs to ensure high levels of service.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and productive work environment.
2. Guest Experience:
- Ensure every guest receives outstanding service, addressing any concerns and resolving issues promptly.
- Maintain a visible presence on the floor, engaging with customers to build relationships and ensure satisfaction.
3. Operational Oversight:
- Oversee daily operations, including inventory management, scheduling, and financial reporting.
- Implement and monitor standard operating procedures to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Enforce IT procedures and process.
4. Financial Management:
- Develop and manage budgets, control costs, and optimize revenue.
- Analyse financial reports and identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
5. Marketing & Community Relations:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote the restaurant and lounge through various channels.
- Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, influencers, and the community to enhance the brand’s reputation.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a General Manager or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage a large team and handle high-pressure situations with grace.
- Exceptional customer service skills, with a keen understanding of the expectations of high net worth individuals.
- Financial acumen and experience in budget management and financial analysis.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices.
- Minimum BSc degree from a reputable University.
- 12 Years post Bsc professional experience.
