Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced administrative professional to fill the role of General Manager of Administration. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company's administrative functions, ensuring the smooth operation of the office, and providing support to the management team.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the administration department, ensuring efficient and effective administrative support.
  • Develop and implement administrative policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Manage the administration budget, ensuring costs are controlled and resources are utilized effectively.
  • Ensure the office is well-maintained, secure, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate the maintenance and repair of heavy-duty equipment and facilities.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR department, including recruitment processes, and employee data management.
  • Coordinate communication between departments, clients, and other stakeholders ensuring effective information flow and collaboration.
  • Identify and mitigate administrative risks, ensuring the company's assets and interests are protected.
  • Develop and implement business continuity plans to ensure administrative operations are maintained during disruptions.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 6 years of experience in active administration, duties.
  • Proven experience in managing administrative teams and functions.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide insights.
