Responsibilities:

• Supervise Production Staff: Supervise and direct production staff to ensure efficient production processes and meet production targets.
• Production Planning: Assist in production planning, including scheduling, material planning, and equipment allocation. 
• Quality Control: Ensure high-quality products by implementing quality control processes and procedures.
• Safety and Health: Ensure a safe and healthy work environment by implementing safety and health procedures and protocols.
• Equipment Maintenance: Ensure equipment is properly maintained and repaired to prevent downtime and ensure efficient production.
• Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities to production staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Communication: Communicate effectively with production staff, management, and other departments to ensure efficient production processes.
• Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot production problems and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and ensure efficient production.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a relevant field e.g. Business Admin or Engineering science preferred.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a manufacturing environment in the rigid plastic industry.
• Should have good knowledge of Excel with formulas, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge: Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety and health procedures.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
