Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Grant Writing and Management:
- Identify and research funding opportunities aligned with the organization’s mission and initiatives.
- Write compelling grant proposals, applications, and reports to secure funding from foundations, corporations, and government entities.
- Maintain a grants calendar to track deadlines, deliverables, and reporting requirements.
Partnership Development:
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including corporate partners, NGOs, and community organizations.
- Develop and negotiate partnership agreements that align with organizational goals and priorities.
- Represent The Smile Outreach in external meetings, conferences, and events to enhance visibility and establish collaborations.
Donor Relations:
- Build and sustain relationships with existing donors, ensuring timely communication and updates on the impact of their contributions.
- Create and manage donor acknowledgment processes, including thank-you notes and recognition initiatives.
- Develop strategies to attract and retain new donors through campaigns and engagement opportunities.
Fundraising Strategy and Execution:
- Collaborate with leadership to design and implement comprehensive fundraising plans to meet annual revenue goals.
- Organize and support virtual fundraising events, campaigns, and initiatives.
- Monitor fundraising performance metrics and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Prepare detailed grant proposals, reports, and presentations for funders and partners.
- Maintain accurate records of partnerships, funding opportunities, and donor communications.
- Ensure compliance with donor requirements and agreements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, business administration, communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in grant writing, partnership management, or fundraising.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional research, proposal writing, and reporting abilities.
- Proficiency in donor management tools, CRM systems, and fundraising platforms.
- Ability to build and nurture relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset.
