Job Description/Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and identify grant opportunities relevant to our firm’s mission and project needs.
- Develop and manage the grant proposal process, including writing, editing, and submitting proposals.
- Maintain a comprehensive calendar of deadlines for grant applications and reports.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary information for grant applications.
- Monitor and manage grant-funded projects to ensure compliance with grant requirements.
- Prepare and submit reports on grant progress to funding bodies.
- Foster and maintain relationships with funders and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- HND/Bachelor’s degree in Business, Agriculture, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in grant writing and management, preferably in the agricultural or environmental sector.
- Exceptional writing, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work independently.
- Familiarity with funding sources, including government agencies, NGOs, and private foundations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
