Rural Watch Africa Initiative - RUWAI is a non-profit organization with a mission to combat climate change and poverty in rural areas of Nigeria by empowering marginalized communities through agriculture and new business ventures. The organization aims to create livelihoods and prevent further land damage through regenerative agricultural initiatives.
Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Grants Specialist Volunteer at Rural Watch Africa Initiative. The Grants Specialist will be responsible for tasks such as proposal writing, budgeting, conducting research, and communication-related to grant applications and management.
Qualifications
- Strong Analytical Skills and Research Abilities
- Experience in Proposal Writing and Budgeting
- Effective Communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Background in grant writing or non-profit work is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business, Nonprofit Management Environment, Agroforestry, or a related field
