Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement an aggressive sales strategy to expand GoodTenants' market share. Set short- and long-term sales goals aligned with business growth objectives.
- Client Acquisition: Drive client acquisition through direct sales efforts, leveraging industry contacts, networking, and outbound outreach to attract property and facility managers, landlords, and other stakeholders.
- Market Research & Expansion: Identify new markets, verticals, and partnership opportunities to expand GoodTenants' footprint. Develop strategic partnerships with industry players and associations to drive referrals and market visibility.
- Product Positioning: Collaborate with the product and marketing teams to position GoodTenants' offerings effectively, ensuring the value proposition resonates with property managers and real estate stakeholders.
- Sales Pipeline Management: Create and manage a robust sales pipeline, tracking performance metrics, conversion rates, and revenue growth. Provide regular reports on sales performance and projections to senior management.
- Recruitment & Training: Identify potential sales agents to recruit and train, empowering them to assist with prospecting, lead generation, and customer follow-up to ensure comprehensive market coverage.
- Customer Retention & Expansion: Work closely with the customer success and account management teams to improve customer retention rates by identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
- Performance Monitoring: Use data-driven insights to monitor continuously and optimize sales performance. Ensure that the team leverages technology and automation tools to streamline the sales process and improve efficiency.
Requirements:
- Regional Expansion: Grow roots in management-focused regions; target high-portfolio property and facility management companies in need of tech solutions.
- Partnership Development: Establish partnerships with real estate agencies, property management companies, and other stakeholders to drive sales through referrals.
- Events & Networking: Attend industry conferences, property management events, and networking functions to generate leads and foster key relationships.
- Channel Sales: Explore opportunities for indirect sales through channel partnerships, leveraging HomeAngels to grow faster.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: 4+ years of experience in SaaS sales or business development, ideally within the property management or real estate tech space or leading sales experience in banking or startup ecosystem.
- Proven track record: demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and scaling sales operations for SaaS products.
- Leadership: Experience in building, leading, and mentoring high-performing sales teams.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with property and facility management processes, challenges, and opportunities is a plus.
- Analytical Mindset: Ability to leverage data and analytics to inform decision-making, track performance, and optimize sales strategies.
- Relationship Building: Strong ability to network, establish, and maintain strategic relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within the industry.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present and sell complex software solutions to diverse audiences.
