Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly and provide a friendly and efficient check-in and check-out process.
- Assist guests with inquiries, provide information about hotel facilities, and offer recommendations for local attractions.
- Handle reservation requests, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in booking processes.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of room availability, rates, and promotions.
- Answer phone calls and respond to emails promptly, addressing guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
- Communicate effectively with other hotel departments to ensure smooth guest experiences.
- Handle guest concerns and complaints with a positive attitude, finding timely and effective resolutions.
- Collaborate with management to escalate and resolve issues as needed.
- Process payments, handle cash accurately, and maintain a balanced cash drawer.
- Provide guests with receipts and ensure accurate billing.
- Monitor and ensure the security of guests and their belongings.
- Follow company safety and security protocols, reporting any incidents or suspicious activities.
Requirements:
- Minimum academic qualification of a Bachelor's degree in any related discipline
- Minimum of 1 year of work experience
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Familiarity with hotel reservation systems (experience with [specific system] is a plus).
- Positive and proactive attitude with a commitment to providing exceptional guest service.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and efficiently.
