JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking an Insurance Broker to oversee and manage all aspects of the company’s insurance operations. He/she will be tasked with conducting thorough research to identify emerging markets and customer needs. Additionally, he/she will cultivate lasting relationships with both new and existing clients while promoting our company's products/services to meet and anticipate clients' objectives.
This role requires an individual with a dynamic personality, coupled with extensive experience in the insurance industry. Strong leadership capabilities and a strategic approach are essential to propel growth and ensure profitability within the organization.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Identifying new market opportunities and evolving customer needs through in-depth research.
- Develop and implement strategies to acquire new clients and expand the company’s reach.
- Craft compelling presentations showcasing the features, benefits, and coverage options of specialized insurance policies.
- Anticipate client objectives and proactively promote the most suitable insurance solutions.
- Guide clients through the selection process, ensuring they choose the best insurance fit.
- Manage a smooth workflow for claims processing, renewals, and new client onboarding.
- Resolve client and agent issues related to all insurance services promptly and efficiently.
- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely NAICOM reports.
- Stay informed about the insurance landscape through ongoing analysis of trends, regulations, and competitor strategies.
- Possess a deep understanding of the company's insurance offerings.
- Consistently exceed individual and team targets, driving growth and success.
- Liaise with underwriters to secure favorable terms, pricing, and coverage limits for clients.
- Coordinate with claims professionals to ensure timely and efficient claims handling and resolution.
- Track and report on key sales metrics, including client acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.
- Leverage sales data to identify opportunities for improvement and strategic expansion.
EDUCATION:
- Minimum of a BSc in Insurance or related discipline
- Associate member of CIIN is preferred
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
- MS Office – Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Possess deep knowledge of insurance sales products and marketing strategies.
- Demonstrate strong leadership and team-building skills, motivating a diverse team to achieve goals.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify market opportunities and drive profitable growth.

WORK EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role
