Job Title: Head, Business Development (Retail & Marketing)
Location: Ajah, Lagos
About Us
We are a newly established microfinance bank set to commence operations, focused on financial inclusion and business growth. We seek an experienced professional to lead business expansion, product development, strategic partnerships, and revenue generation.
Responsibilities
- Business Expansion & Product Development – Drive market penetration, develop and upgrade microfinance products, and grow retail banking operations.
- Revenue Generation & Cost Control – Mobilize deposits, increase loan disbursement, and optimize costs to maximize profitability.
- Marketing & Sales Execution – Implement marketing strategies, drive customer acquisition, and achieve set sales targets.
- Strategic Partnerships & Stakeholder Engagement – Build relationships with regulators, fintechs, and business partners to enhance growth.
- Market Research & Competitive Analysis – Identify trends, customer needs, and emerging opportunities in financial services.
Requirements
- Minimum of a first degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in business development, retail banking, or marketing in the microfinance banking sector.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.
- Professional certifications (CIBN, NIMN, ICAN, ACCA) are an added advantage.
