Job Summary
The head of communications and brand support will work with the team and a wide range of vendors, partners and stakeholders to ensure the brand is consistently improving and various expectations from the role are met.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Attending to client requests via calls, social media platforms, bank website, and web chat
- Crafting, planning, and execution of CSR programs recommendation and executions
- Reporting and media management of activities of the bank.
- Content development, interview management (talking point, transcription, editing, publication monitoring), etc., and content development for bank magazine, website, and social media handles.
- Vetting, design, and media placement of all materials (posts and adverts) including those on social media and quarterly financial reports of performance in newspapers.
- Assurance and verification of brand fidelity and compliance to standards of all brand vehicles and branded materials.
- Event planning and management of participation in external and industry events.
- Monthly newsletter content generation, design, production, publishing, and circulation internally and alternately on social media.
- Projecting brand face, planning and executing any brand refresh exercise, monitoring and evaluating brand acceptability.
- Plan, coordinated, and execute successfully AGM, other shareholders meetings/engagement
- Plan, coordinate, and execute successfully End of the Year Party
- Plan, coordinate, and execute attendance/participation at industry and other events (Abuja International Housing Show, REDAN Conference/exhibition, MBAN, Retreats etc.)
- Awards Management – Nomination, information and content management, screening of awards, participation in ceremonies
- Documentation & Reporting (photography, publishing on media) of all bank activities that follow international and national activity days
- Ensuring improved patronage and bottom line (turnover, sales, etc.) through improved brand and industry positioning.
Requirements:
- First degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline, including Mass Communication, Public Relations, and Marketing.
- A Master’s degree or other professional qualifications would be an added advantage.
- A minimum of 5 years experience in communication, Marketing, or Journalism field.
- Advanced knowledge in corporate Branding.
- Basic knowledge of Graphics.
- Highly proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent communication Skills (Written & Oral).
- Excellent listening skills.
- Proficiency in digital and social network media.
- Proactive with sound problem-solving skills.
- Excellent facilitation and presentation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills
