Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of HR to lead our human resources department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing HR strategies that align with our company’s goals, ensuring a positive work environment, and driving employee engagement and development across our real estate operations.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.

  • Lead the HR department in developing workforce plans, talent acquisition, and retention strategies.

  • Oversee the recruitment process, including job postings, interviews, and hiring decisions.

  • Develop and maintain a talent pipeline through strategic sourcing and networking.

  • Foster a positive working environment by managing employee relations, resolving conflicts, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.

  • Conduct employee engagement surveys and develop action plans to enhance employee satisfaction and retention.

  • Implement performance management systems to assess employee performance and develop performance improvement plans.

  • Provide coaching and support to managers and staff on performance management practices.

  • Design and oversee training and development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.

  • Identify training needs and implement programs that align with business goals and employee development.

  • Develop and manage competitive compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain top talent.

  • Ensure compliance with salary and benefits regulations and market trends.

  • Develop and update HR policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance and alignment with best practices.

  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.

  • Analyze HR data and prepare reports on key HR metrics, including turnover rates, employee satisfaction, and training effectiveness.

  • Provide regular updates to senior management on HR trends, challenges, and opportunities.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree or relevant HR certification (e.g., CIPM, SHRM) is a plus.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 4 years in a senior HR leadership role within the real estate or related industry.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and labor relations.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement HR strategies that support business objectives.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
