Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Development of the Human Resource Department:
- Oversee and manage the work of reporting human resources staff. Encourage the ongoing development of the human resources staff.
- Conduct a continuing study of all human resources policies, programs, and practices to keep management informed of new developments.
- Participate in executive management and company staff meetings and attend other meetings and seminars.
Recruitment (Sourcing and Selection, Assessment, Hiring):
- Establish and lead the standard recruiting and hiring practices and procedures necessary to recruit and hire a superior workforce.
- Manpower planning and recruitment.
- Provide remuneration advisory.
- Oversee onboarding and induction of new employees.
- Manage the exit process of departing employees.
Performance Management:
- Design and implement an efficient PMS (Performance Management System).
- Oversee goal setting and KPI validation.
- Manage the appraisal and feedback process.
- Implement performance improvement plans as necessary.
Learning and Talent Development:
- Conduct training needs assessments.
- Develop training plans and curriculum.
- Oversee career planning and development programs.
Employee Compensation and Benefits Management:
- Oversee payroll administration.
- Manage employee benefits and welfare programs (e.g., birthdays, weddings, births, funerals).
Human Resources Information Software (HRIS):
- Utilize HRIS for the company’s record-keeping and management advantage.
- Manage employee files and records.
- Conduct HR audits.
Change Management and Succession Planning:
- Manage organizational change and culture development.
- Identify and develop new leaders through succession planning and mentorship programs.
Conflict Resolution and Employee Relations:
- Chair and oversee the disciplinary committee for staff.
- Ensure fair and timely resolution of conflicts.
- Manage employee discipline, grievance management, and conflict resolution.
Requirements:
- 5-7 years of cognate experience in Human Resources
- Degree in a related field
- Professional Certifications
