We are seeking to hire a Legal and compliance officer to help develop and implement compliance policies and procedures in the organization

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures.
- Advise on legal and compliance matters in committees.
- Ensure accurate and timely reports to regulators.
- Liaise with regulators and respond to inquiries.
- Lead the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Compliance Program.
- Report suspicious activities and ensure AML regulations are followed.
- Assess risks in new products and services, and provide legal advice on contracts, compliance, litigation, and corporate governance.
- Supervise and develop the Compliance & Risk Analyst team.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years post-call experience as a legal practitioner.
- Degree in Law or related fields (Accounting, Finance, Economics, etc)
- At least 4 years’ experience in capital markets with knowledge of regulations.
- Must be a registered individual with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
- Completion of the SEC
- Compliance Officers’ training is required.
