They are seeking a strategic and results-driven Head of Agent Network to lead and manage their agent network across Nigeria. You will oversee the recruitment, training, and management of a dedicated team of sales agents, each responsible for onboarding new business clients and driving transaction volumes. You will play a crucial role in scaling our clientâs market presence, ensuring their growth objectives are met by deploying and optimizing agent network structure.
Your Responsibilitiesâ¦
- Agent Network Development: You will design and implement an effective agent network structure across strategic regions in Nigeria, led by Regional Sales Leads. You will ensure the network is equipped to meet high sales targets aligned with their growth objectives.
- Recruitment & Training: You will lead the recruitment and onboarding of new agents, focusing on tech-savvy individuals with strong business networks. You will develop comprehensive training programs to equip agents with the knowledge and tools needed to excel.
- Performance Management: You will oversee agent performance by setting clear targets for new customer acquisition, Total Payment Volume (TPV) growth, and revenue generation. You will monitor performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery.
- Strategy & Oversight: You will collaborate closely with Regional Sales Leads to provide strategic guidance, ensuring that all regional sales activities are aligned with their overall customer acquisition strategy. You will adjust approaches quickly to adapt to market shifts or new opportunities.
- Market Expansion: You will drive their market presence by expanding the agent network into new regions and building strong relationships with businesses that have high transaction volumes. You will continuously seek new avenues to grow the client base and increase TPV.
The Ideal Candidate has/isâ¦
- At least 5 years of experience in sales management, particularly in leading and scaling sales teams within financial services, fintech, or B2B sectors. Proven success in driving customer acquisition and revenue growth.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, motivate, and scale a distributed sales team. Experience in developing and implementing sales strategies to drive business objectives.
- Deep understanding of sales processes, customer acquisition strategies, and market expansion tactics. Ability to set measurable goals and ensure accountability across the team.
- Proficient in data analysis and performance tracking. Ability to derive actionable insights from sales metrics to continuously improve the agent networkâs efficiency.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Able to work effectively with internal teams and external partners to align strategies and drive results.
