The Head of Brand Management and Business Development will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of our Advertising Agency across the African Market. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives to enhance the Agency’s market presence, attract new clients, and expand existing client relationship

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive business development and marketing strategies aligned with the Agency’s goals and objectives.
  • Identify new business opportunities, market trends, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with the Agency’s leadership to define and prioritize business development initiatives.
  • Oversee the creation and execution of the Client’s marketing and advertising campaigns, including digital marketing, social media, content marketing, Public Relations, Image/Reputation, and events.
  • Lead efforts to attract and retain clients through targeted business development activities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, industry partners, and stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement client engagement programs to enhance client satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing business development and marketing team.
  • Foster a collaborative and results-driven team culture.
  • Provide ongoing training and professional development opportunities for team members.
  • Set performance goals, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Maintain a strong brand identity for The Bullish Path Agency, ensuring consistency across all marketing materials and communications.
  • Oversee the production of high-quality Client marketing collateral, including print brochures, presentations, and proposals & pitches.
  • Oversee the Agency’s online presence, including website content, social media profiles, and online advertising.
  • Coordinate public relations efforts, including media relations, press releases, and speaking engagements.
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and emerging marketing, digital, e-commerce & AI trends.
  • Analyze market data and prepare reports to inform strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Monitor competitor activities and develop strategies to differentiate the Agency and its Clients in the marketplace.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in business development and marketing.
  • Experience within the Advertising Agency industry is strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful business development and marketing strategies.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Deep understanding of market research and analysis techniques.
  • Proficiency in AI, digital marketing, social media, and content marketing.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of professionalism and integrity.
