JOB GRADE: GENERAL MANAGER
JOB PURPOSE
As the Head of Business, you will be responsible for spearheading the growth of the business by sourcing and securing holiday and travel products to increase the profitability of of the business totaling billions of Naira in profit.
RESPONSIBILITIES
● Negotiate with coach operators, airlines, hoteliers and resort representatives to get best prices and packages.
● Source for relevant trade partners to execute the required services.
● Research, attend travel exhibitions to identify new tools to increase business growth.
● Setting out a long-term, strategic marketing vision for Finchglow Holidays in line with growth
objectives.
● Identify and acquire new customers and also ensure their profitability is maintained
● Manage the growth strategy and wider business plan of the company.
● Supervise call plan of both the Sales, Operations & Accountant team.
● Provide accurate forecasts and ensure that Finchglow Holiday’s targets are met.
● Develop, Establish and Enforce goals, as well as, policies and procedures for Finchglow Holidays
Conduct weekly/monthly sales meeting and training.
● Deal with clients’ complaints as a matter of urgency in accordance with company’s policy
● Define KRAs for your team in sync to the annual target provided for Finchglow Holidays.
● Stay updated with recent market/industry trends, competitors & leading customer strategies
● Prepare a weekly and monthly report.
● Analyze customer research, the market and competitor data and make recommendations that
drive the growth of the brand.
● Lead all marketing activities and measure performance through developing appropriate marketing metrics.
● Maintain, develop and research potential new strategic relationships within the sector to help drive the growth of the brand.
● Review and analyze sales performances against programs, quotes and plans to determine
effectiveness.
● Ensure proper documentation is filed and kept (online and offline).
● Prepare weekly activity/update reports.
● Carry out any other additional related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATION
● Minimum of B.Sc. in Business Management or related field, an M.Sc. or MBA is an added
advantage
● Professional qualifications/certifications are an added advantage (IATA courses)
EXPERIENCE
● Minimum of 8 years’ professional experience in Business Management, with an added advantage
in the Travel/Aviation Industry and in a Supervisory role.
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
● Strong prospecting skills and Excellent closing skills
● Exceptional verbal, written & presentation communication skills
● Experience working in the Travel Industry will be an added advantage
● Excellent customer service delivery focus
● Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to manage multiple projects and set priorities
● Excellent attitude and work ethics
● Excellent Leadership and Managerial Skills
● Result driven & target oriented
