Head of Finance And Administration

Head of Finance & Admin, Lagos.

A reputable Group of companies with interests in Insurance Broking, Real Estate and Management Consulting, with a proven track record of excellence for over four decades seeks to hire a result-oriented professional as its Head of Finance & Administration.

The successful candidate will report to the Group Executive Director and manage the general financial operations and enhance accuracy of financial results.

Responsibilities

·       Provide strategic financial management and leadership support across the business, in line with the overall corporate objectives.

·       Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and statements as per management requirement.

·       Ensure that all statutory requirements of the organization are met.

·       Manage and coordinate the formulation of the financial plan and annual budgets. Monitors progress towards their achievements.

·       Ensure that the organization makes all required government remittances as and when required.

·       Liaise with external auditors; and ensure the annual and/or periodic audits are seamlessly carried out.

·       Implement and monitor internal controls.

Requirements

·       BSc/HND in Accounting, Finance or any other relevant discipline

·       Must have relevant professional certifications (ICAN or ACCA)

·       Minimum of 7 years' accounting experience and at least 4 years in a managerial position

·       Rich knowledge of accounting principles with strong understanding of GAAP and IFRS

·       A good understanding of the accounts of an insurance broking firm will be an advantage but not compulsory

·       High degree of Integrity and Transparency is a MUST

·       Proficiency in the use of QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel is a MUST

·       Excellent analytical and reporting skills
