Role Brief:

The Head of Human Resources & Administration is responsible for overseeing the development and execution of the Bank's human resources and administrative strategies. The role encompasses strategic HR management, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, talent development, and compliance with employment laws. Additionally, this position handles the bank's administrative functions to ensure smooth and efficient operations. The Head of HR & Administration will work closely with senior management to align HR strategies with the bank's overall goals and ensure the implementation of best practices in human resources and administration.

Qualification and Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Human Resources, or a related discipline. A Master’s degree is an added advantage.

- Relevant professional certifications (CIPM, SHRM, CIPD, CIBN, HRCI) etc

- Minimum of (15) years cognate experience with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role, and in a financial institution.

- Proven experience in internal controls, auditing, risk management, ethics, and fraud awareness.

- Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions and implement effective contingency plans for managing crises and unexpected events.

- Experience with technology integration in HR and administrative functions.

- Knowledge of cultural dynamics and ability to manage a diverse workforce.

- Experience in strategies for enhancing employee engagement and satisfaction.
