Summary:

As Head of Compliance, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the regulatory and compliance risks across our organization. You will lead the development and implementation of compliance strategies, policies, and practices to ensure we meet industry standards and regulatory requirements. This role requires a strategic leader with deep knowledge of real estate regulations, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures that align with applicable real estate regulations, company standards, and industry best practices.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and ensure timely updates to compliance policies to mitigate risks.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify compliance risks, develop action plans, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Educate and train staff on compliance matters, ensuring awareness and adherence to relevant laws and standards.
  • Provide guidance and support on legal and compliance issues to other departments, including due diligence, anti-money laundering (AML), data privacy, and risk management.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to create a culture of compliance and ethical practices within the organization.
  • Lead investigations into compliance-related incidents, propose corrective actions, and prepare reports for management and regulatory authorities as required.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory bodies and external auditors.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree or certifications (e.g., Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional) preferred.
  • Minimum of [Insert Number] years of experience in a compliance role within the real estate or financial sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of real estate regulations, AML laws, data privacy, and other relevant compliance frameworks.
