Operations Analyst

Responsibilities

• Work in daily production tasks and follow established processes.
• Monitor equipment and machinery, reporting any issues to maintenance for prompt action.
• Work closely with the production team to ensure quality standards are met.
• Conduct regular checks on product quality and consistency.
• Report any deviations in quality or safety standards to the Management.
• Support the Quality Assurance team in implementing improvement processes.
• Track raw material and supply inventory levels and notify the supervisor for restocking as needed.
• Assist with proper storage and handling of materials and products.
• Coordinate with suppliers and logistics to ensure timely material delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of production metrics, including output, downtime, and quality checks.
• Prepare and submit daily and weekly reports on production and inventory levels.
• Adhere to all health and safety guidelines in the production area.
• Support efforts to maintain a clean, safe, and environmentally friendly work environment.
• Participate in safety training and report any safety hazards immediately.
• Collaborate with team members to identify areas for improvement in production processes.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to boost efficiency and reduce waste
• Stay updated on best practices and industry standards in cassava processing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or A Diploma in Food Science, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
• 4-5 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, preferably in food processing or agribusiness.
• living in Delta State, Obior, close to Agbor and Umunede
• Basic understanding of production processes and machinery.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Proficiency in data entry and basic software applications (e.g., Microsoft Excel).
