Job Summary

Our client is looking to hire a smart, intelligent, tenacious and experienced candidate as an Operations Manager. The ideal candidate will posses proper communication skills. Our client is a dynamic and ever revolving construction and mining company constantly in the pursuit of improvement, efficiency and ultimately perfection. Their mission is to provide innovative products and services in the most efficient manner to allow affordability while adhering strictly to globally accepted quality standards. Their vision is to sustainably capture the entire real estate, construction and construction material value chain in Africa and beyond. Our client started small, lean and have started to outgrow their current human resources capacity and need to improve their operational process across the board.

  • Minimum Qualification : Degree
  • Experience Level : Mid level
  • Experience Length : 3 years

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement better operational processes and procedures of all units.
  • Ensure continuous efficiency of these processes through constant review and coordination of communication between all units within the organization.
  • Coordinate with management and functional units heads to define, document and track tasks, deadlines, KPIs and policies for all member staff
  • Liaise with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to roadmap planning, prioritization and execution
  • Design and implement an asset management system
  • Liaise with senior management to make strategic business decisions that will further improve operational activities and impact strategic goals


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related fields (Required)
  • Master’s degree in management or related field (added advantage)
  • Additional certifications or trainings in related fields (added advantage)
  • 3 - 5 years’ experience in operations management preferably in the construction or mining industry
  • Strong interpersonal skills to be able to form alliances
  • Resourcefulness and grit
  • In-depth knowledge of multi operational functions
  • Strong process discovery and improvement skills

  • Perfect knowledge of and experience with Microsoft office suits
  • Good Knowledge of and experience with ERPs


Working hours: 8:50am - 4:30 pm Monday - Friday


Remuneration: NGN
400,000 net
