Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Head of Production to lead and oversee all manufacturing and production operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining high-quality standards, and optimizing resources to meet business objectives. As our Head of Production, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire production process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. You will lead a team, optimize workflows, and implement strategies to improve productivity while maintaining high safety and regulatory standards. This is a key leadership role that requires a hands-on strategic thinker with a strong background in manufacturing or production management. The Head of production will oversee all the production lines and ensure they are functioning effectively. It is a very demanding position that requires someone of high calibre.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage daily production operations to meet business objectives
- Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Manage production budgets, resources, and workforce allocation
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive process improvements
- Lead, mentor, and train production staff to enhance team performance
- Collaborate with supply chain, quality assurance, and engineering teams
- Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
- Troubleshoot production challenges and implement corrective actions
Requirements:
- Working knowledge of plastic machines- Injection moulding, Blow moulding, Thermo Foaming
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business Management, or a related field
- Proven experience in a senior production management role
- Strong knowledge of production planning, process optimization, and quality control
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies
- Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines
