Job Description/Requirements
- Define and implement the overall strategy for the Retail and SME Banking divisions.
- Identify growth opportunities in the retail and SME segments through market analysis and customer insights.
- Align divisional objectives with the organization's long-term goals.
- Develop and enhance products and services tailored to the needs of retail customers and SMEs.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives to improve customer experience and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with marketing and technology teams to design innovative banking solutions.
- Oversee strategies to acquire, retain, and grow the customer base in both retail and SME segments.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and implement programs to enhance service delivery.
- Build strong relationships with key SME clients to understand their business needs.
- Drive revenue growth by meeting or exceeding sales targets for retail and SME products.
- Monitor performance metrics, including profitability, market share, and customer base growth.
- Ensure cross-selling and up-selling opportunities are maximized.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies in all activities.
- Work closely with the risk management team to identify, assess, and mitigate risks.
- Promote a culture of compliance and ethical banking practices.
- Build and lead high-performing teams across the retail and SME divisions.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and development opportunities for team members.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
- Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscape to adapt strategies.
- Prepare and present performance reports to senior management.
- Ensure efficient budget management and cost control.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field, MBA or equivalent is preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in banking, with a focus on retail and SME segments.
- Proven track record in driving business growth and leading diverse teams.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and risk management practices.
- Strong leadership and strategic thinking capabilities.
- Deep understanding of retail and SME banking products, services, and market dynamics.
- Excellent relationship management and communication skills.
- Analytical and financial acumen to interpret market trends and performance metrics.
- Proficiency in leveraging technology for digital banking and operational efficiency.
