Job Title: Team Lead, HR Culture Reports To: Unit Head HR Culture
Group: Human Resources Grade Level: AM – DM
Unit: HR Culture Work Hours: 40 hours per week
Location: Lagos, Nigeria Position Type: Full Time
Job Overview
• Play a pivotal role in driving initiatives to foster a positive and inclusive organizational culture within the bank.
• Lead a team dedicated to promoting employee engagement, diversity, equity, and inclusion, contributing to the overall success of the bank.
Key Responsibilities
• Drive change to implement efficient and effective strategies as a Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to a team of HR professionals focused on culture, engagement, diversity, equity, and inclusion.
• Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment, promoting professional growth and development.
• Work closely with senior management to develop and implement strategies to promote a strong organizational culture aligned with the bank's values and goals.
• Analyze employee feedback and survey data to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans accordingly.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement DEI initiatives, policies, and programs.
• Collaborate closely with other HR teams, business units, and stakeholders to integrate culture, engagement, and DEI initiatives into broader HR and business strategies.
• Generate reports and metrics to measure the effectiveness of HR culture initiatives and track progress towards goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Unit Head, HR.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Knowledge of the banking sector, including industry regulations, trends, and challenges, to tailor culture initiatives to the bank’s needs.
• Proven ability to provide direction, guidance, and mentorship to team members, inspiring them to achieve common goals and objectives.
• Highly skilled in managing a diverse team of HR professionals, including task delegation, performance management, and conflict resolution.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey ideas, provide feedback, and facilitate discussions within the team and stakeholders.
• Skilled in identifying challenges, analyzing root causes, and developing creative solutions to address issues
related to culture.

Qualifications & Experience
Mandatory
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in HR leadership roles within the banking or financial services industry, with a focus on culture, engagement, and/or diversity and inclusion.
• Up to 6 years of experience as an HR professional.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
Desirable
• Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• Relevant professional certifications
• Managerial experience preferred.
