Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and results-driven Head of Sales/Business Development to lead our proposed growth in sales. This strategic leadership role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, driving sales/revenue growth, and overseeing the sales team (Team Lead and Loan Officers). The desired candidate will work closely with senior leadership to execute the company's sales strategy, manage key relationships, and ensure business objectives are met and exceeded.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Lead sales and growth of the company from the front·
- Track, analyze, and report on key sales metrics, including pipeline status, revenue forecasts, and team performance.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to drive high performance.
- Constant rendition of periodic activity (in the sales team) reports.
- Develop and implement business development and sales strategies to achieve the company’s goals.
- Set clear sales targets, KPIs, and performance metrics for the sales team.
- Use data-driven insight to develop sales strategies and improve performance.
- Oversee the full sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals and maintaining client relationships.
- Develop strategic partnerships, alliances, and business relationships to drive new revenue streams.
Requirements:
- B.Sc. in business administration, marketing, or any related discipline.
- Must have completed NYSC.
- Minimum of 5–7 years’ work experience in sales or business development; experience in a financial sector is mandatory.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and meeting/exceeding sales targets.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Familiarity with industry trends, market research, and competitive analysis.
