Job Description:
We are looking for a Head of Sales Marketing & Brand to help grow Africa's leading online music service focused on the mass market. The company has 24.5m monthly users across Africa, with Nigeria, Ghana, Tanzania and Kenya being main markets, music licensed directly from +150,000 African musicians and 1.7m international songs available through licensing agreements with Warner Music Group, Universal Music Group and Believe Digital. We have experienced rapid growth in recent years and we are currently a team of 40 full-time staff spread across Africa. Our focus is on 5 African countries for now and aims to grow to 50,000,000 users before June 2025.
We offer millions of songs from Africa and abroad for free download and streaming.
The company did an IPO in September 2020 and is listed at Nasdaq First North Growth Markets in Copenhagen, Denmark.
About the role:
We are looking for an experienced and motivated creative executive with a strong passion for driving demand and lead generation for our sales teams across Africa. You will be part of the Pan-African Ad-Sales Team and reporting to the Head of Ad-sales in Kenya. We are a publicly listed company at the stock exchange Nasdaq First North in Copenhagen and as a part of the sales team, you will be directly responsible for the results of the company.
We have developed “the company for Brands” as a platform to attract and engage with Africa’s biggest agencies and advertisers. The platform is highly data-driven and our aim is to serve personal and highly influential advertisements to our audience. Our commercial focus is on Kenya, Tanzania, South Africa, Nigeria and Ghana and our solutions are targeting the top advertisers and agencies in each country. Our main product is the “Company’s Audio Ads” which is an audio advertisement embedded in front of all songs downloaded from our website.

You will be responsible for the company’s For Brand’s advertisement platform including product innovation, product management, brand building, lead generation, content marketing, sales materials and campaign management / ad-operations.
Job Objectives: Developing and executing a sales marketing plan to drive demand and revenue for the business including brand building, direct marketing, content marketing and proposals.
