Job Description/Requirements
- Proactively build talent pipelines for current and future organizational needs by sourcing qualified candidates through various channels (job boards, social media, internal databases, etc.).
- Identify, engage, and nurture relationships with both active and passive candidates.
- Analyze recruitment data and metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, time-to-hire, cost-per-hire) to identify trends and improve the effectiveness of sourcing strategies.
- Provide regular reporting and analysis of recruitment activities and outcomes to support decision-making.
- Continuously evaluate and improve the recruitment process to ensure efficiency, reduce time-to-hire, and maintain high standards of candidate experience.
- Collaborate with HR and hiring managers to streamline interview procedures and ensure consistency across departments.
- Conduct market research and recommend new channels for candidate sourcing, including job boards, professional networks, and university partnerships.
- Assist in organizing and attending career fairs, networking events, and university recruitment programs to enhance the organization's visibility and talent pool.
- Build and maintain relationships with universities, student organizations, and career centers.
- Support the screening and assessment of candidates by reviewing resumes, conducting initial interviews, and assessing candidate qualifications against job requirements
- Collaborate with hiring managers and HR teams to understand job requirements and align recruitment strategies to meet talent needs.
- Provide support in scheduling interviews, creating candidate shortlists, and ensuring a smooth recruitment process.
- Support retention initiatives by analyzing exit interview data and providing insights on turnover rates.
- Recommend recruitment practices that enhance employee engagement and long-term retention.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or relevant field
- At Least 2-3 years hands-on experience as a recruiter or talent acquisition specialist.
- Proven knowledge and hands-on experience using Human Resources Management Systems.
- High efficiency with HR operations including hiring, payroll, recruitment, selection, benefits, and/or equal opportunity compliance preferred.
- Proficient use of organizations HRIS, payroll, and similar employee management software.
- Strong interpersonal skills and capable of communicating with individuals at all levels and from various backgrounds
