Job Summary
The Bliss Caregivers is a domiciliary Home caregiving/Nursing agency for Older adults and special children in Nigeria. We provide professional nursing care at the comfort of the clients' homes/residents. We are recruiting to fill the positions of Homecare Registered Nurse.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining accurate healthcare records and reports.
- Administering medications.
- Accessing, implementing, planning or evaluating clients' nursing care plans by working with other members of the nursing team.
- Ensure the immediate environment of the service user is clean.
- Where applicable, specialized care including wound dressings, NG tube feeding, tracheostomy care, bed bathing, oral toileting, oxygen administration, Fixing and care for urinary catheter, care for PEG tube etc, care for pressure areas which include frequent turning etc.
- Accompanying service users during hospital visits.
- Assistance with mobility and exercises.
- Companionship for the service users.
- Regular monitor of vital signs.
- Assistance with Activities of daily living.
Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent.
- Valid nursing license and registration as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- 1-2 years of experience in clinical or home healthcare settings.
- Experience in specialized care procedures (e.g., wound care, tracheostomy care, PEG tube management) is preferred.
- Proficient in administering medications and managing care plans.
- Strong understanding of infection control and hygiene protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for providing companionship and support.
- Ability to monitor and interpret vital signs accurately.
- Physical stamina for assisting with mobility and exercises.
- Skilled in using medical equipment like NG tubes, oxygen administration devices, and urinary catheters.
- Knowledge of pressure area care and techniques to prevent pressure sores.
- Empathetic, patient, and caring attitude toward clients.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills for maintaining accurate records and reports.
- Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure, especially in emergencies.
- Flexibility to accompany clients on hospital visits or other outings.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment for service users.
- CPR and First Aid certification (highly desirable).
