Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Select and plant trees, shrubs, flowers, and other vegetation appropriate to the environment and purpose.
- Prune, water, fertilize, and treat plants to ensure optimal health and growth.
- Monitor and address plant health issues, including pest infestations and diseases.
- Design and implement aesthetically pleasing and functional garden or landscape layouts.
- Develop sustainable landscaping solutions that align with environmental considerations.

Requirements:
- OND/HND/Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture, Agriculture, Botany, or a related field.
- Proven experience in horticulture, landscaping, or a similar role.
- Extensive knowledge of plant species, soil science, and pest management.
- Proficiency in designing and maintaining outdoor and indoor green spaces.
- Ability to conduct soil tests and recommend effective treatments for soil improvement.
- Experience with sustainable landscaping solutions and eco-friendly gardening techniques.
- Familiarity with pest and disease control methods, including organic and chemical treatments.
- Skilled in plant propagation, pruning, watering, fertilization, and care techniques.
- Strong understanding of environmental safety and water conservation practices.
- Creative thinking and expertise in garden or landscape design.
- Ability to monitor and address plant health issues promptly and effectively.
- Strong observational skills to study plant varieties and adapt to specific climates or soils.
