Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR and Legal Manager to join our healthcare organization. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing both the Human Resources and Legal functions, reporting directly to the CEO. The ideal candidate will develop and implement HR strategies, ensure legal compliance, manage employee relations,

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies aligned with organizational goals
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legal regulations, labor laws, and healthcare-specific regulations
  • Provide legal support and advice on HR matters, including employment contracts, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
  • Collaborate with department heads and executive members on HR and legal matters
  • Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution and performance management
  • Provide legal counsel on various matters affecting the organization
  • Manage employee benefits, compensation, and wellness programs
  • Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Law, or related field; Master's degree is a plus
  • Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP/SCP, PHR/SPHR) is a plus
  • A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience with 3 years cognate experience in HR and Legal role and 3 years in compliance
  • Extensive knowledge of employment law, labor regulations, and healthcare compliance
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing HR strategies
  • Strong background in employee relations and conflict resolution
  • Experience in a healthcare setting is highly preferred
