A leading foods and pastries company, is seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Manager to join our team. The HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes. This includes managing recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and ensuring compliance with labor

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Staffing:
  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent.
  • Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Collaborate with department heads to understand staffing needs and create job descriptions.


Employee Relations:

  • Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Address employee concerns and grievances promptly and effectively.
  • Conduct investigations and resolve conflicts in accordance with company policies.


Performance Management:

  • Oversee the performance review process, including setting objectives, providing feedback, and managing evaluations.
  • Implement strategies for employee development and succession planning.
  • Monitor employee performance and provide coaching and support as needed.


Training and Development:

  • Identify training needs and develop programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Coordinate and deliver training sessions, workshops, and seminars.
  • Promote continuous learning and professional development within the organization.


Compliance and Policies:

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
  • Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.


Compensation and Benefits:

  • Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs.
  • Conduct salary benchmarking and manage compensation structures.
  • Ensure competitive and fair compensation practices.


HR Analytics and Reporting:

  • Utilize HR metrics and analytics to inform decision-making.
  • Prepare regular reports on HR activities and performance indicators.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) is a plus.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in HR management, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite
